Asha Dangol is a Nepali artist focusing who has been painting and exhibiting for almost 30 years. With over a dozen solo exhibitions under his belt as well as participating in group exhibitions in 18 countries, Asha is considered an authority within the Nepali art community.

Asha’s work on display at La Luna Gallery puts particular emphasis on the consumerism and environmental impact of tourism in Nepal and the Himalayan Mountain Range. Asha challenges his audience to consider these issues through his use of Buddhist and spiritual imagery transposed on to the beauty, or often decay, present in the scenes depicted.

Asha is also a co-founder of E-Arts Nepal, with the aim to bring authentic Nepali artworks to a wider audience.
